We fitted this Nov 2013, so have had 2 winters with it. It is slim, and the style is nice - not overly traditional, but not modern either. It is slim, so fitted well in our quite small fireplace
. It is easy to light, and builds a lot of heat quickly. It does 'tink' a lot as the metal expands. There is a good deal of heat given off, though I haven't much to compare it to. One issue we have is that the window gets very dirty very quickly. A friend has a Clearview, and we noticed how clean it stays (and he never cleans it. However, I think those are over double the price, so the Bohmia represents very good value

The bigger brother our Bohemia (Pevex) 30. We had been so pleased with our previous Bohemia 30 we had no hesitation in specifying the Bohemia 50 for our new home. We needed a stove certified
for use on a 12mm (non-constructional) hearth under Building Regulations part J, which the Bohemia range is.We like the simple clean lines and the reliability of the sheet steel construction. This stove has not disappointed. The fire-box is substantially larger than the 30 or 40 models, and will take a 400mm log. That alone has saved us a few hours in the garden with the bow saws! The air-wash is OK, but needs to be kept over half open to prevent the glass tarring. It is simple to use, easy to clean with an impressive heating performance. No smoke into the room even with a rear flue configuration and lighting up from a cold chimney. You can load to burn bright for over 3 hours. The first couple of lightings created some smoke and smell from the stove paint, but that’s true for many new stoves. A nice touch is the discrete adjustable screw feet hidden in each corner behind the stove case - we fitted some silicon pads under these to stop the stove walking on the granite hearth and to level it. There’s nothing really to go wrong with these stoves, simple, reliable and decent value.

Stove expert replied: Nice comments from stove owner of smaller model, must be happy with product to purchase another. Nice feedback.
